Our Former Allies

Our Allies in Sunnydale are dead.

Their enemies, their equivalent "#ETIQUETTE#" as it were, has destroyed them and claimed the city their own. This faction of werewolves are the ones typified in horror stories.

While the group we had worked with previously were cautious but capable allies, this new group of werewolves are everything you've been taught to avoid them for.

The new group should be avoided. This means don't go venturing into Sunnydale. They were responsible for our Soup Kitchen Fires, they were responsible for razing at least one haven that I'm aware of, and they kidnapped me.

I was, of course, able to get out alive. While I have every confidence in the capabilities of my brothers to do likewise, it is best not to tempt fate. They took out a full city of good werewolves, and as I understand the Anarchs who were in the city have also disappeared.

In short, don't bother them. Don't draw their attention to us. If you do, you're dead. If they don't kill you, then I claim, as Templar, Monomancy on any who risk the lives of our brothers by consequence of these werewolves.

~the 5 o'clock local news comes on~

Good evening our top story today is the arson of a local soup kitchen. I-witness reports tell us that earlier this afternoon 3 men walked into whats left of the soup kitchen behind me, ordered everyone out of the building and began emptying three large gas cans around inside the building. A few minutes later the flames from inside began to grow and take over the building. The I-witness then said that the 3 men came walking out of the burning building and moved south down the street. Once fire crews arrived it took them about an hour to get the fire under control. The building itself was a complete loss.

We have just got reports that a soup kitchen on 123 x st. has just been set on fire. We will have more on this as we get information on it. Again a soup kitchen on 123 x st. is on fire and crews are reponding. We will keep you posted.

No I'm not adding advertisements. Don't worry. I hate those friggin things. What I have is better.

How many of you read books? How many of you buy them? Well, I've set up an associate account with Amazon. From now on, when you buy anything at all from Amazon through Pander's Playground, the game will get a portion of the money. I'd like to see the money go to be used in event games and the like. In short, doing your Amazon shopping through PPG kicks some of the money you spend right back to you now. I know I spend a lot at Amazon, I can't imagine I'm the only one who does a lot of reading.

You can click the Amazon button on the page to search for anything from Amazon and buy it through us as well. We'll still get the referral bonus, so it doesn't matter what you're planning to buy, you can help the game out when you do.

I reiterate, this goes straight to the game. For now I'll handle making sure it gets used correctly, on my honor, but we should probably find a treasurer or something to handle this sort of thing.

I just want us to be able to hold real event games and not pay much (if at all) out of pocket for venues.

Action Forms!

We've got forms!

On the Main Menu you'll notice a new section called "Downtime Actions" - in here you can do things such as spend experience, perform influence actions, and craft items. This is only the beginning, though. I've added a vague "Ask an ST" option for generic actions, and I imagine later on we can put in some more complex actions as well.

As always, if you notice any bugs with these please let me know. Also, if you have any ideas for forms or anything else youd like to see, just let me know and I'll get on it.

As you can see, we've returned to some semblance of what the site is supposed to look like. I've added a couple new things, and there's more in the works.

ppg.watchmythreat.com will be shut down tonight, so you have about 14 hours from now to fix your bookmarks. I will be placing a redirect there but that's it.

Welcome to the new online home of Pander's Playground!

Email Addresses are still available, feel free to hit me up for one as you please. Registration seems to be working without a hitch. I upgraded the backend to the most recent stable release of the content system I use(called Xoops). Some information was lost in the transition, but not to worry, it was only your profile.

So, on the left side of the page you'll notice a red bar with a bunch of words next to it. Please click on Edit Account under the User Menu and update your information.

The Members section now actually displays all of our members in a nice, sortable, searchable format with links to profiles and other cool stuff.

More in the works as always. Want to see a new feature? Drop a note in the forums and I'll see what I can do!

New Web Address + Email Now Available!

We have a new address! After some discussion last night I decided to go ahead and register pandersplayground.com, and spent the night transferring everything over to it. I think I did this fairly well, and old links via watchmythreat shouldn't even break. However, do update your bookmarks!

In related news, email addresses are noew available!

I have 4 addresses available with unlimited storage. I have an additional 20 address available with 50mb each of storage.

I will hand these out on a first come first serve basis. If you feel you won't use the address much, ask for a limited mailbox(one of the 20) so that those who will use it regularly can enjoy the unlimited space.

I can also create email masks, so that email sent to the mask will redirect to your regular inbox. There is no limit to the number of these I can create.

Post your desired email address in the request thread and I will create it for you, and pm you the password.

These addresses can be accessed via webmail( http://webmail.pandersplayground.com ) or pop3 clients such as Outlook or Thunderbird. Yes, they should even work with your blackberry and iphone.
